The Popular Show Campaign 4 Unveils the Soldiers Table

From the very beginning of the fourth campaign, recently appointed game master Brennan Lee Mulligan has kept viewers on edge with extensive world-building, a colorful mix of heroes, and a thrilling plot featuring divine entities, fiends, and malevolent powers expanding in influence within the city.

Heads-up: Revealing details for Episode 3 of Campaign 4 lie ahead.

The Combat-Oriented Party Revealed

Episode 3 concluded with a dramatic pause and revealed the initial group of characters who will split off from the primary party to begin their own adventure, distinct from the remaining groups.

This warrior group features Teor (portrayed by Travis), the nimble rogue (the talented performer), the fierce warrior (Whitney Moore), Wicander (Sam), and Kattigan Vale (the actor).

Dividing the Cast

With 13 cast members, it was clear from the beginning that keeping everyone at a single group would be unfeasible.

Hence, the first four episodes of Campaign 4 serve as an Prelude, intertwining the characters’ stories before splitting into three separate parties: Warriors, Strategists, and Questers.

What Defines the Combat Party

According to Brennan Lee Mulligan, the warrior group is for adventurers who prefer a typically action-packed battle-oriented story mode where non-violent answers are scarce.

Upon first impression, characters like the hesitant healer Wicander might seem out of place, but the actions of the latest installment demonstrate why these five characters are perfectly fit for the Soldiers table.

Reasons to Leave

For one thing, the party knows exactly where to proceed after a violent opening clash with the antagonists.

Casimir of Thjazi—whose passing kicked off the campaign’s events—used the enemy for his own means, invading the hidden lair, striking the character, and taking all the powerful objects to auction.

Casimir then paid off his obligations and ran away to a secure base in Gormalay, Timmony, beyond the city, with Cyd Pridesire pursuing him.

Personal Motivations

Secondly, each character has a specific drive to depart the urban setting:

  • The rogue, as the companion and trusted friend, seeks retribution.
  • The adventurer is familiar with the region and warns that it is a nasty environment.
  • Tyranny and Wicander, having resisted his family’s wishes to execute Teor and instead freed him, have no safe haven.
  • Yet, their reputation as key figures in House Halovar could help the team enter areas they normally couldn’t.
  • Furthermore, The fighter pledged a unbreakable promise to The cleric for his salvation and will now accompany him everywhere.

Fugitives

Finally, all of them are hunted by the authorities that govern the city for a range of causes, making remaining behind dangerous:

  • The agile adventurer and The hero are notorious outlaws.
  • The warrior and Wicander turned against the influential house and the horde of evil beings they are partnered with.
  • The target is targeted for elimination by the family.

This means them few options but to head to the northern region in search of the antagonist.

Upcoming Developments

Based on episode three’s post-show segment, we find out that the warrior group will not appear next week, leaving the other eight participants to assemble the Seekers and Planners groups.

Audiences can look forward to finding out which players will be where in the season’s concluding setup installment, available to watch on October 24.
